From the Fall/Winter 2005 collection, this lustrous satin gown debuted on the season's runway as look 26, modeled by Mariacarla Boscono. Constructed entirely of silk satin in golden taupe hues, this magnificent gown features an internal corset, a halterneck strap, and an exposed back. Custom-made and tediously crafted by hand, this gown features sashes that wrap over the bust and around the neck. Similar sashes are draped around the hips and tied off at the rear. This haute couture piece is made complete with a large gold-tone pin accent at one hip which is adorned with a large faux pearl and covered in rhinestones.
