Returns

At RealList, we pride ourselves on providing detailed descriptions, provenance, and condition disclosures for every item. Because all pieces are vintage, returns are accepted only in limited circumstances.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The return must be initiated within 48 hours of delivery. The 48-hour window begins upon confirmed delivery and applies regardless of weekends, holidays, or business hours

  • The item must be unworn, unused, and in the exact condition as received, as determined by RealList upon inspection.

  • The item must be free of odors (including perfume or smoke), markings, alterations, wear, or damage of any kind

  • All original tags must be attached

  • Tamper-evident return tags must be intact and match the original serial numbers

  • The item must be returned in its original packaging

Items returned with damaged, removed, or missing return tags will not be accepted or refunded.

Return approval does not guarantee a refund. All returned items are subject to inspection upon receipt. All determinations regarding condition and eligibility are made at RealList’s sole discretion.

Once a return is approved, the item must be shipped within 2 days of receiving the return label or return confirmation. Tracking and proof of courier acceptance must be provided.

The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

Returns must be approved prior to shipment. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Final Sale & Pricing

  • All sales are final except as expressly stated in this policy

  • We do not offer price adjustments, partial refunds, or store credits outside of this policy

  • Refunds, if approved, are issued only to the original payment method

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item arrives materially damaged in transit or materially inconsistent with the item description, contact us immediately so we may evaluate the issue.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are never eligible for return under any circumstances:

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Items purchased outside of the RealList website, including private or direct sales

Exchanges

To ensure availability, we recommend placing a new order and returning the original item separately. If your return is approved following inspection, a refund will be issued in accordance with this policy.

International Orders, Customs & Import Duties

Buyers are responsible for all customs duties, VAT, import taxes, and related fees.

  • Returns that are refused, delayed, or returned due to unpaid import duties or customs fees will not be accepted

  • If an order is returned to RealList due to unpaid duties, we will notify the buyer to arrange re-shipment at the buyer’s expense

  • Items not re-shipped within 14 days of return delivery will be considered abandoned, and RealList reserves the right to dispose of the item at its sole discretion

  • Shipping fees, customs duties, and import taxes are non-refundable

  • RealList is not responsible for delays, refusals, or losses caused by customs authorities or unpaid import fees

All international returns must be clearly marked “Returned Goods” on customs documentation. Returns shipped without proper customs declaration that result in duties, taxes, or fees will not be accepted, and all associated costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Any duties, taxes, or fees incurred due to improper customs documentation are non-refundable.

European Union – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you may cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, as required by EU law.

Returned items must meet all eligibility and condition requirements outlined in this policy and must not show any signs of wear, use, or alteration.
Buyers remain responsible for return shipping, customs duties, and import fees, which are non-refundable.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Financial institutions may require additional time to post the refund.

If it has been more than 15 business days since approval and you have not received your refund, please contact info@reallist.com.

Chargebacks & Policy Enforcement

Unauthorized returns, return abuse, or chargebacks filed in violation of this policy may result in account restrictions or refusal of future service.

Governing Law

This policy, and any dispute arising from or relating to a purchase governed by this policy, is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
