From Gianni Versace's penultimate collection, this dress from the Spring/Summer 1997 season is constructed in black stretch viscose with a fluid asymmetric silhouette. It features a high, square neckline with delicate spaghetti straps, dramatic asymmetric open sides, and a faux-tie detailing at the waist. The handkerchief hem drapes longer at one side, creating movement through the skirt. The design debuted as runway look 60 modeled by Kristen McMenamy.
